# Tastibase

> Tastibase ranks individual dishes — not whole restaurants — using AI sentiment analysis of real customer reviews, so you can find the best version of any dish in a city.

Tastibase reads tens of thousands of public Google reviews with a BERT sentiment model, scores every mention of a specific dish, blends in star ratings, and applies Bayesian shrinkage so consistent praise outranks one-off raves. Only reviews from the last 3 years count. We publish aggregate scores only — never review text or reviewer names. Currently live: Indian food in Adelaide, South Australia. Scores run 0–10 (8.5+ exceptional, 8.0–8.4 excellent, 7.0–7.9 very good).
